Shot a short film with this over the weekend and the horizontal flares are exactly what I was after. The 1.55x squeeze gives that ultra-wide look without cropping, though you do need to de-squeeze in post. Worth the extra step.

The oval bokeh really shows up in night shots, which is exactly what I wanted for a short film look. Only gripe is the flare gets pretty intense in direct sunlight, so I have to angle it carefully. Solid build otherwise.
