Macro Lens Edition - iPhone 17e / 16e

I’ve been testing this macro lens on my iPhone 17e, and the shallow depth of field really makes tiny details pop without that harsh digital sharpening. Setup was straightforward, and the natural look feels much more like a real camera shot.

The way this lens counters that harsh artificial sharpening from newer iPhones is a game-changer for close-up shots. I was able to capture the tiny veins on a leaf with such a natural, soft blur around it.

The shallow depth of field on this thing is exactly what I wanted for shooting flowers and coffee foam. It actually softens the over-sharpened look my phone camera gives everything, so photos feel more natural instead of that crunchy digital edge. Clips on easy and stays put.
