Anamorphic 1.55x Lens

Shot a short film with this over the weekend and the horizontal flares are exactly what I was after. The 1.55x squeeze gives that ultra-wide look without cropping, though you do need to de-squeeze in post. Worth the extra step.

The oval bokeh really shows up in night shots, which is exactly what I wanted for a short film look. Only gripe is the flare gets pretty intense in direct sunlight, so I have to angle it carefully. Solid build otherwise.

Took a bit of fiddling to get the lens seated evenly on my phone clip, but once it was on, the horizontal flares looked properly cinematic. The 1.55x squeeze gives that wide anamorphic framing I was after.
